I work at a youth center and I run a photography club. My boss agreed to buy some digital cameras for the kids so I am looking for decent quality at a reasonable price? I will probably ask for 5 or 10 cameras. Any suggestions?

My 4-year-old daughter got one for Christmas last year and she absolutely loves it! It’s insanely durable. She’s dropped it countless times and her 2-year-old sister has gotten her hands on it and colored it, thrown it, etc. and it still works great. It’s obviously not the greatest quality picture, but it’s good enough that your son will like it. I highly recommend them.

Do you know of any digital camera that is appropiate for kids but has a battery charger instead of AA batteries? That is the only gift my years old girl wants. She has a special talent on taking pictures but I don’t want to spend my whole salary buying batteries.

I brough my daughter a digital camera last year. It was a kids camera with the screen on the back. She takes good pictures but the quality sucks. Where can I find a cheap one that may take better quality pics

kodak makes some good cameras and some have some built in editing, like borders and such. they run relatively cheap for a model thats a year old. about $100 bucks. i happen to know that walgreens, if you have those near you, do carry them.

I bought my niece the Fisher Price digital camera for Christmas last year, works pretty well. Very durable as well.

I'm trying to find an inexpensive digital camera for my 4 year old and my 8 year old. I'm having more trouble finding one an 8 year old would like because she's to old for the fisher price tough kid one I'm looking at for my 4 year old. If you have a great digital camera for your young child I would love to hear what you think of it. Also, if you have the Fisher Price Tough kid digital camera I would like to know if you like it. I've heard mixed reviews on that camera. Thanks for your help!!

I haven't purchased one for my kids yet, but Wal Mart has some for only $19.99. I think that's a pretty good price for a digital camera, it also has great designs like Spiderman and Disney Princess which includes changable faces. It comes with two additional faces. They also have carrying cases for the cameras for only $5.00!! I hoped this helped and I hope the kids enjoy it. They will have fun getting their own pictures developed

My son is turning 5 and wants a camera but the disney cars and the Diego cameras have horrible reviews. Anyone know of a good one? I'm not expecting crystal clear photos for this price I just don;t want to buy a total piece of junk.

and look up into it to take a self-portrait? Why not just hold the camera straight in front of the face? Just curious.

For some reason today everyone is about self-image, and people take pictures of themselves in order to get compliments. They started changing it up, and I think that they think it's "artsy" although it's really just poor photography. Sadly, I think a lot of it started with the Myspace profile picture craze…at least they stopped with the photos of their reflection in the mirror…especially when they would leave the flash on. I guess that's cool??

I don't want one that I have to maually do a lot of settings. If possible I would a "point and shoot" camera that gets god close-up and clear action shots.

well most digital cameras have a delay. FYI. you wont have to do alot of settings either. but if i were you i'd get a song cybershot. they run from about $200 to $400 depending on the mega pixels.. which don't really mean anything unless you want to enlarge the photos Kodak easy shares are awesome too. but im not sure how much they run for.
